Corrections, disputes and removals

Birmingham Estate Agent Guide is an independent directory that scores and ranks estate agent businesses across the city. Listings draw from public business information and Google reviews. The scoring system is fixed and published; the same rubric applies fairly to every agent listed. Being listed costs nothing, and no payment can move your score or ranking. Fixing factual details

Your name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, and services are drawn from public sources. If any of these fields are wrong in your listing, send us the correct information along with proof we can check against, such as your website or Google Business Profile. Once verified, the corrected detail stays on your listing through all future data refreshes.

Challenging a score

Scores are computed automatically from Google reviews using a fixed, published rubric. We never hand-edit a score. If you believe your score or the linked reviews are inaccurate, you can dispute it, but a dispute is a claim that the data itself is wrong (the profile matched the wrong business, reviews were attributed incorrectly, or a summary misrepresents what reviewers actually wrote). We re-check the sources and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number; if the data is correct, the score stands.

Requesting removal

We remove listings when a business has permanently closed, is a duplicate entry, or falls outside this directory's scope. Closures are also caught automatically each month during our re-verification cycle. If your business is accurate and within scope, a removal request will be declined, and you will be told why plainly.

How fast we respond

Every request is acknowledged within 5 business days. Removals that are confirmed are actioned within 7 days. Requests that are declined come with the reason.
